LRTA Administrator Atty. Hernando T. Cabrera started 2024 with a strong emphasis on innovation and safety during the agency’s first flag-raising ceremony. At the event, Cabrera highlighted the importance of innovative approaches to meet and surpass government compliance standards. 

A key focus for the LRTA in 2024, as outlined by Cabrera, is the implementation of advanced compliance mechanisms and strict adherence to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Protocols. 

This initiative aligns with regulations from the Department of Labor and Employment and the Civil Service Commission to enhance employee safety and report accuracy. Cabrera’s vision for 2024 is that LRTA will set the standard for government compliance and safety. “We are establishing a new benchmark for operational excellence,” Cabrera said.

Furthermore, the administrator stressed the significance of meeting the compliance requirements set by various government agencies to enhance public service delivery and urged everyone to uphold competency in 2024 and the years ahead.
