In a respectful nod to the devotees participating in the Traslacion of the Black Nazarene, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) will allow passengers to board the LRT-2 trains barefoot on January 8 and 9, 2024.

 This initiative is a testament to the LRTA’s dedication to honor the cultural and religious practices of its commuters.

To ensure seamless travel, the LRTA will also maintain its regular train schedule during these days. 

The first trains are scheduled to leave Recto and Antipolo Stations at 5:00 AM. The last train will depart from Antipolo Station at 9:00 PM and from Recto Station at 9:30 PM.
