In addition to Community CSR,  one significant aspect of LRTA’s CSR efforts is its commitment to environmental sustainability. The authority invests in eco-friendly practices and technologies to minimize its carbon footprint.

This includes the integration of energy-efficient systems, waste reduction initiatives, and the promotion of green commuting options. LRTA’s dedication to sustainable practices aligns with its goal to create a cleaner and healthier environment for both passengers and the surrounding communities.

The LRTA Conducted its Environmental CSR on November 23, 2023, by planting trees and creation of a mini forest inside the LRT2 Depot to address the pressing concerns of climate change and to enhance disaster resilience within the said workplace.
